Delivery Charges

Mainland UK.

Orders over £200 - free delivery.

Standard delivery - £5.00 inc VAT.

Next working day delivery - £10 inc VAT.

We are only able to despatch orders Monday to Friday, and all orders must be placed before 12 noon for next day delivery. No orders will be processed during bank holidays or weekends.

Outside UK mainland delivery

Northern Ireland & Isle Of Man - will be charged depending on size of order, please contact us for details.

International – please e-mail for details.

When will my order be delivered?

If we have your items in stock, the vast number of UK orders will be dispatched within 1-3 working days. If requested, we can arrange deliveries for the next working day at an extra charge. If we are unable to fulfil your order within the specified time we will contact you to make alternative arrangements.

Returns and refund policy

Gatehouse hopes that you are satisfied with your helmet purchase. Do not remove any of the safety/information tags until you are sure that your helmet is suitable. All tags must remain securely attached. When trying your helmet for the first time it should be as tight as is comfortably possible without giving you a headache. A good idea is to try it for about 15 minutes, during this trial it is advisable to put on and remove the helmet several times. This relieves any pressure to the head created by wearing a new helmet and creates equilibrium between the head and the helmet. Putting on and removing the helmet when it is brand new helps to mould the padding to your head shape therefore making it more comfortable to wear.

Unfortunately, due to Health & Safety regulations, we cannot accept returns for any products unless they are faulty.

This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

You must notify us of any fault within 24hrs of receipt. If the fault is found to be due to manufacturing, the helmet will be replaced, if the fault is found to be due to improper use then the helmet may be repaired and a charge applied.

If you need to return the helmet for any reason we do expect that you take reasonable care of the helmet until it is returned to us. Please ensure any protective material enclosed with the helmet is used to protect it in transit, hats not adequately protected will not be accepted. All returns for repair or replacement need to be sent within 14 days of receipt.

If we are unable to repair or replace your helmet within a satisfactory time frame, we will refund your payment in accordance with your statutory rights.

We recommend that helmet fitting is performed by a qualified hat fitter.

If the helmet is not the correct fit;

  • Please contact us immediately if the helmet is too tight or too loose or does not fit securely.
  • We are unable to accept any helmets if their tags have been removed.

If the helmet is damaged in transit;

  • If the helmet is damaged in transit we request that you report it to us within 24hrs.

If the helmet is faulty;

  • If your helmet is found to be faulty, please notify us immediately and we will be happy to repair or replace it.
